The Walk begins in the recently renovated Wolfe Tone Square, up through the main entrance of Bantry House, past the front of Bantry House, and then back to the Westlodge Hotel. (Note: be careful you do not confuse the beginning of the walk which goes West and to the Westlodge Hotel, with the end of the walk which comes from the West, behind Bantry House, and then back to Wolfe Tone Square.)
The Sheep‘s Head Way Guide Book & Map is available in many shops & pubs in the area, it also contains a history and wonderful stories about the area.
